Privacy Policy

Who we are

Swatchbay (swatchbay.com) is a free website of design tools: a brand kit maker, font tools, a colour palette generator and an inspiration board. Questions about this policy can be sent to hello@swatchbay.com.

What we collect

Nothing you type is sent to us. Text you type into the font generator, preview, pairing or palette tools stays in your browser.
Saved items stay on your device. Images you save on the Inspiration page and the number of brand kits you have downloaded are stored in your browser's local storage. You can clear them at any time by clearing your browser data for this site.
Server logs. Our host, Cloudflare, processes basic technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Brand kit descriptions. If the brand kit's AI feature is switched on, the brand name and description you enter are sent to our server and to Anthropic, our AI provider, only to create your kit. We do not use them for anything else. See Anthropic's privacy policy.
Purchases. If you buy extra brand kits, payment is handled by our payment provider. We never see or store your card details.

Fonts and other services

Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts and Fontshare. When your browser requests a font, those services receive your IP address. See Google Fonts privacy.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data about you, or to object to how it is used. Because we hold almost no personal data, most requests can be met by clearing your browser data. For anything else, email hello@swatchbay.com.
