Questions
- Is my image uploaded?
- No. Reading the text and comparing the fonts both happen on your device. Nothing is sent to us.
- Will it find the exact font?
- Only if the font is one of our free fonts. If the image uses a paid font, you get the free fonts that look closest to it, which is often all you need.
- Can I use the fonts it finds?
- Yes. Every font here is released under an open licence (SIL Open Font License or Apache 2.0), so you can use it for personal and commercial work.
- Why is the match wrong?
- Check the text box first: the letters must match the image exactly, including capitals. Then draw a tighter box around a single word.
- Want to try fonts with your own text?
- Preview every free font with any words you like.
